A cosy cottage set in Suffolk’s prettiest hamlet
Primrose Cottage is located in Kersey, arguably Suffolk’s prettiest hamlet, adjacent to ‘Constable Country and
the beautiful Stour Valley; previously home and depicted by Constable, Gainsborough and Sir Alfred Munnings
to name but a few.
Kersey village is readily accessible from London (A12 or M11) to the south and Cambridge (A14) that is linked
to the north and west of the UK and Norwich to the immediate north. Typical journey times by car, given normal,
not rush hour, traffic conditions, are:
Central London: less than 2 hours,
Cambridge: circa 1 hours ten minutes,
Norwich: around 1 hour
By train: (using Intercity trains)
Liverpool Street – Ipswich: 1 hour 5 minutes or less
Liverpool Street – Manningtree: 1 hour or less
Liverpool Street – Colchester: 50 mins or less
